Amazing Dewpoint Temperatures

I was just doing a little reading and can't believe I am about to drive to Little Rock during some of the hottest weather in years.

The dewpoint temperature at the North Little Rock airport on Tuesday of this week was 83 degrees, making the 94 degree air temperature feel like 119 degrees to the body!

UGH!!!!

  1. At that same time the dew point at my location in Poplar Bluff Mo. was 77 with a temperature of 96. It's like getting slapped in the face with a hot wet towel.

  2. Yea, Not much better in Lewisburg,TN with a dewpoint of 76 and temperature of 96. That's about a 107 degree heat index. I spent the day in Nashville yesterday and the air quality was horrible.

  5. Since moving to Nevada in 2004, I have not seen condensation on a glass in eons. The Dew Point is soooo low here. The Rel. Hum. on my weather station has been down to single digits at times.

  6. At some point, isn't hot just hot? We're not too hot up here in Michigan yet this year. Maybe next year with El Nino coming on. But this year has been a blessing. Does it make you want to move north??
