Rough Ride Today Along I-40 Corridor

Winter storm warnings stretch for over 1,000 miles of the I-40 corridor - and covers entire states, such as Tennessee!

Ice has accumulated up to a half-inch in the Tulsa, OK vicinity and across northwest Arkansas. Now snow is falling on top of the ice.

Heavy rain is falling south of the freezing line across portions of central Texas, Louisiana and the deep south.

Even portions of southeast Virginia, in the Norfolf area, may see anywhere from 5 to 10 inches of snow from this winter storm.

Elsewhere across the nation it is fairly quiet with the exception of bitter cold air locked over the upper midwest.
