Meet Meteorologist Chris Spears

- I am a degreed meteorologist and love talking to others about such a fascinating field of science. My biggest interest outside of teaching and writing is Climatology. I have followed weather since I was 4 years old when The Weather Channel made a debut. While others my age watched cartoons, I was checking out the Weekly Planner and Local on the 8s! I've been involved with CoCoRaHS since 2002. I was fortunate to work as the weather producer for KMGH-TV in Denver between 2005 and 2007 and helped Mike Nelson write the Colorado Weather Almanac. Although my current job has nothing to do with weather and climate, I hope my path takes me back into the field I love someday soon. If I can't find a job directly involved with the weather, something related would be equally exciting, such as working with water, conservation or the environment. If you know of any Denver based leads, feel free to pass them along!

WITH ALL THE RECORD SETTING COLD WEATHER IN THE NORTHEAST, AND MIDWEST,DOES ANYONE AT LEAST BELIEVE THERE IS SOME ARGUMENT AGAINST GLOBAL WARMING?
