I've seen the sheer cliffs on Oahu, and they are as wonderful as you describe. When we visited, I noticed a 'mist' of rain each day in Honolulu - presumably coming from the mountains to the Northeast. <br /><br />I would love to be able to sit on the beach and watch a storm come in from miles, I'm sure it's wonderful.<br /><br />Of course in my opinion, the best thing about a Hawai'ian rain?
